Get to know FOUNDER, Tina Bruner (shown at left)
Tina has devoted her career—and life—to serving people displaced and traumatized by war and injustice. She has worked for and started multiple nonprofit organizations, including Global Good Works.
In addition to being the founder of Global Good Works, she is currently chairman of the board of Epek International, a nonprofit serving the needs of internally displaced Afghans and Afghans who are refugees in neighboring countries. Prior to her board leadership position, she was actively involved for many years in work to help provide hope and healing to Afghan men, women, and children through education and training programs, medical care, and assistance with basic needs (food, blankets, a listening ear). Her influence has helped uplift and save the lives of many.
Tina currently lives in Poland and is working to bring the Polish government, organizations, churches, and caring local and global supporters to work effectively alongside each other to assist Ukrainian refugees. Their collective efforts are helping meet the needs of Ukrainian families who have survived and are trying to recover from unimaginable trauma inflicted by the war that has killed more than 55,000 Ukrainians to date.
Tina is a compassionate, kind, loving leader who excels at connecting people and managing resources to make the greatest positive impact on the lives of those suffering.
